Making technical information easier to understand through character, performance and visual storytelling.
For this ICT education project, VOOTN used a professional actor in a purpose-created scenario to present technical course information through a fictitious ICT manager and company.
Filmed in our studio, the production demonstrates how training and educational content can move beyond conventional presentation-to-camera and become more engaging for its intended audience.

1800-Got-Junk SA “The Couch”

For 1800-GOT-JUNK’s South Australian franchise, we turned a simple couch collection into a distinctly local story.
Against a running debate over SA football legends, from Robran and Ebert to Erin Phillips and Chelsea Randall, Joanna and Geoff load up a suburban couch before revealing the bigger message: wherever possible, what they collect is diverted from landfill and given a second life.
Warm, funny and unmistakably South Australian, The Couch helped position an international brand as a locally owned franchise, with local people, local humour and a strong recycling ethos.

For CNA, governance training went boldly beyond the boardroom.
Two characters pilot a spaceship through New Zealand’s not-for-profit governance landscape, using humour, story and a little intergalactic jeopardy to explore purpose, values, strategic direction, diversity and organisational review.
Part of a larger eLearning series produced by VOOTN, the film demonstrates how imaginative scripting, professional performance and visual storytelling can turn complex learning content into something clear, culturally relevant and genuinely engaging.

VOOTN founder Adam Morgan brings more than 30 years of professional production, performance and voice experience to the business. An experienced screen actor and voice artist, Adam also contributes production and audio expertise across VOOTN projects.
